Using Project Afterlight
You receive a personal, limited, revocable right to use the game and its services. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping access credentials secure. The game is under active development, so features, balance, availability, and supported devices may change.
Fair play and community conduct
You may not cheat, automate play, exploit bugs, interfere with the service, access another account, harass players, impersonate staff, or use clans, markets, names, or support tools for unlawful or abusive content.
Accounts or content may be limited or removed when reasonably necessary to protect players, the service, or fair play.
Virtual items and purchases
Gold, settlers, boosts, resources, and other virtual items are licensed game content, not real-world property or currency. They may not be sold for real money outside an officially supported system. Any future real-money purchases will use the platform store's checkout and refund rules. Paid features will not be activated until store-side purchase verification is operating.
Player content
You keep rights you already hold in names or messages you submit. You grant Project Afterlight the limited permission needed to host, display, moderate, and transmit that content as part of the game. Do not submit content you lack the right to use.
Availability and changes
The service may be interrupted for maintenance, security, updates, or circumstances outside reasonable control. Reasonable care will be taken to preserve player progress, but uninterrupted or error-free operation cannot be promised. Material changes to these terms will be published here before they take effect where practical.
Ownership
Project Afterlight's original code, art, world, characters, text, branding, and other game content are owned by michealjwm or used under licence. These terms do not transfer those rights. General game ideas and genre mechanics may also exist in other games.
Support
For account or service help, use Account → Support inside Project Afterlight. Public support access will be expanded before accounts are opened to players.
